APGC POSTPONED UNTIL AUGUST 2021

After careful consideration of all the current reporting from the world’s leading health organisations, the AGPS board members and Local Organising Committee, made the decision to postpone the Asia-Pacific Glaucoma Congress to 13 – 15 August 2021. There will be no change to the congress venue.

The health and safety of our delegates, partners, communities and all those involved with the congress is our highest priority. It is the Society’s view that postponement is the best option and will enable us to provide the experience that our delegates, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors expect and deserve in a safe environment.

We stand strong with the focus to bring together all professionals involved in the glaucoma field – clinicians, scientists, students and other health practitioners from the Ophthalmology field with a focus on Glaucoma to encourage collaborative research and service projects, increase the opportunities for exchange of skills and knowledge in this rapidly advancing field, assist our comprehensive ophthalmological colleagues and other eye care workers (whether medically trained or not) and be up to date with advances in all aspects of glaucoma diagnosis and management.
We are excited to announce that we will be introducing virtual registration so delegates will still be able to participate in the congress should they be unable to travel to Kuala Lumpur. More information on virtual registrations and attendance will be provided in the coming weeks.

We look forward to bringing together our community in this new digital format to learn, connect, and grow together.

Unit then, stay safe and healthy!
